Fun Monday - Indiana Wants You

Pamela of Dust Will Wait is the hostess of this week's Fun Monday adventure. For our challenge, Pamela is asking us, "Show me in pictures or tell me in words what defines the place where you live." The wise and wonderful Pamela is leaving the interpretation of the task up to the participants. (Of course, the generous Fun Monday crowd is always accepting of others responses...after all this is about having fun on Monday.)

This comic strip drawn by our son, Luke, for the Purdue Exponent when he was a college student delineates a definite feature about where I live.

Living in Indiana, we have the opportunity to experience all four seasons and all sorts of weather.

Spring

Summer

Autumn

Winter

(Note: I was planning a blogging special event for Valentine's Day. However, perhaps this should be postponed for another day.)

My hubs is from South Bend and Logansport, Indiana. What he doesn't miss are the winters. He has fond memories of the Fall.

Great idea!!! I want to come see you in the fall - it looks so beautiful.

Four Seasons. I can't imagine living without them (but please hurry up spring!)

The autumn photo you've shared takes my breath away...such a beautiful golden dreamscape!

Now the snow part....you can keep that, that is why I'm down almost as far south as we can get!

My Fun Monday is posted, I do hope you can stop by!

I like the seasons too, except for one. They can skip winter for me unless we get blue skies and snow, then I'm all for it!

Great photos of the four seasons. I did a way with one and thats winter. We go south for that one.(thank you Lord). Your son is a good artist, I like his comic strip. I will keep an eye out for your special event.

You definitely do get four seasons there and if they are anything like your photos they're spectacular.

Illinois is much the same, although I haven't seen much of water like what you are showing, and we live in MO and have lived in IA as well, so we've had good and bad of all of the above

That's what my brother likes best about Indiana, the fact he can still experience all 4 seasons. I love that winter pic.

I wish we had four seasons... Mostly we have two - hot and not-so-hot.

Yes we are lucky to live where there's a definite change of season although spring seems to go right into summer lately. Maybe that's what you son's cartoon said--when I embiggened it blurred! My computer--everyone else seemed fine. Need a geek squad.

Did you get to see the President when he was in IN yesterday? I fear you had to work.
