Fun Monday - Deck the Halls

For this week's Fun Monday challenge, Kaytabug of Lady K is asking the cheerful bloggers. "In the spirit of the season I would like to see your favorite Christmas tree ornament." As Kaytabug readily admits, many of us will not pick just one.

One of my favorites is this S'mores snowman that Luke gave me one Christmas.

This pair of mice, Gus-Gus and Jacques, stars of Walt Disney's Cinderella were promotional items offered by Mickey D.'s many years ago.

Of course, every mom's favorite ornaments are something made by the kids.

To view other favorite ornaments visit our hostess for the list of participants.

These ornaments will once again be on the little tree. Their joy will be shared by all who see them. And now by my internet friends.

Oh I love these. My favorite ones are the ones made by my kids also. I wish I had all my stuff out so I could participate. The boxes have been out for over a week now. No time to get round to it. Spent all day in my favorite town Christmas shopping. Just kidding, I hate El Paso. Do you put up 2 trees? Daddy D mentioned putting them on the small tree.

The S'mores one would make me crave chocolate more than I already do. I like the kid's homemade ones better too. Makes them feel good, too.

Love the Cinderella mice! I was talking to my granddaughter the other day about a game we'd made up when we were little called Gus-Gus (a variant of hide and seek).

how do you not eat the smores one? even if it's plastic, it still looks delicious.

I love this Fun Monday. I especially like the ornaments made by your kids. Especially the one with the silver painted pasta!

That's funny because I added an extra picture of things my kids had made over 30 yrs ago. The Smores one is cute, it brings back memories of the pie my daughter made for this thanksgiving.

I soooo need to give each one of my kids one of those s'mores snowmen...they LOVE 'em (except theirs are scorched, not white and perfect).

Those are novel decorations made by the children...although I have quite a few, those are originals; I especially like the star.

I just love Gus-Gus!! My favorite mouse. He puts Mickey to shame.

That S'mores though? Makes me hungry!

I haven't had lunch yet and that smores should do just fine :o) Love all of them but have a special place in my heart for little Gus-Gus!

So sweet. My Mom still has ones my sister made and she gave to her a few years ago. I guess mine didn't make it thru all the moves we made.

AAhhh painted pasta!!! I made a few of those I remember!!!
Last year my oldest boy did a tree with cherios!! I tucked it away as they started falling off!!

I love those little smores snowmen, wish I had one, of course I'd probably try to eat it during one of my chocolate attacks.

Oh, YES, the ornaments made by our children are the most special. My girls have given up begging me not to put the egg carton ones with photos, the chunky clay stars, and the paper with glitter ornaments that they made long ago. I love that s'mores ornament too!

I had to look twice at the one with the smores to see of they were real. I would give a pretty penny for one like that!
