Today's Round Robin challenge is to post a picture showing that, "Weeds Can Be Beautiful Too." A weed, of course, is merely a wildflower in the wrong place. Pictured here is a dandelion relative, Yellow Goatsbeard, Tragopogon pratensis, that has gone to seed.

Yes that is not a weed, it is a wish waiting to be born!
Molly you obviously know your weeds! Of course your photo looks like a dandelion gone to seed! Excellent photo!
Thank you for naming my weeds: Wood sorrel and chicory! And yes the chicory is all over the place in Long Island right now! :)
When the man from Nantucket got lazy,
His fans in the blog world went crazy,
When they yelled out "But Why?"
He screamed "F#*K Don't Cry!"
But my brain matters gone a bit hazy!
There you go dear, I factored in the essentials for you.
Great shot!
I played too :)
I agree with a previous comment that said "that is a wish waiting to happen." It is so lacy and delicate. I imagine that soon it will just float away on a soft breeze.

I can't tell you how many wishes I made on these things....millions I am sure. I have never seen any growing at the beach...it that where it is? Never thought they would grwo there. Thanks for playing.
This must be dandelion season! Don't blow on it or it might spread. Nice photo.
This is the weed that came to mind immediately when I saw the task this week.
However, my boys love "wishing flowers" and tend to hog them all! :-)
I have a sudden urge to blow... Very nice pic.
I love the way you can see inside the sphere of fluff in this photo. Really nice shot!
Ah. Just found the large version of the shot. Very nice detail.
i really like the way you captured this dandelion....very pretty indeed.
I love these, we used to get them and blow them and make a rhyme to make a wish as we blew each time.
Gorgeous. I just opened it to the larger version and it just takes my breath away. Good thing, or I'd be tempted to blow on it.
I would have has no idea that was something other than a dandelion. Thanks for educating me! I also love that you're really captured the natural geometry of the seedling fluff. Well done!
Weed is beautiful. So it that picture. ;)
When I look at your photo, all I want to do is make my wish and blow! Nicely done. :-)
