I actually meant to include this picture in my last post, Down on the Farm. These bales of hay were in the lot adjacent to our yard. They are growing alfalfa right next door. This is indeed the country life.

In the country, food is produced (both plants and animals). Seeing tht process go on is positive because we know we are going to get to eat in the future.

Dad and I saw actual haystacks and not the modern-type bales you see around Indiana when we were driving through Ohio.
