The theme for today's Photo-a-Day is on the road. This picture is the Mackinac Bridge leading to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, a favorite vacation spot. The photo was taken in June of 2005.

The sky looks like there might be some storm coming soon. Better get the tent up right away before the rain.
I hope you made it across before the rain came. I took several pictures of the bridge from Mackinaw City and the island when we were in the area, but we never crossed it to get to the UP even though we talked about it. We are still hoping to make it back there someday.

Another blogger friend has a cabin up there and is always posting photos of that bridge, so I recognize it. Very cool!!
