I have the honor of hosting Fun Monday for the month of February. In the spirit of an early television show, The Millionaire, in which a fabulously wealthy man gave away a million dollars anonymously in every episode, imagine that you are the recipient of a large sum of money, say 10 million dollars (to account for inflation). Tell us what you would do with the gift and how would your lifestyle change.
I have thought of writing children's books - but really, they aren't any easier to write! I've had an idea for a while but haven't done anything with it. Perhaps it's time.
Children's books seems to be the strong market (and young adult) these days, so I think you'd have great success with your story, should you decide to write it!
Ah ha! Mystery of your blog name solved. Have always been curious about the white robin. I'm very excited about two children's books right now--they're gift for two little girl friends for Valentine's Day. Of course I'm going to read them first--carefully.
Everyone has a story inside of them. I love the unusual. I, too, have thought about writing a young child's book -- you know, there aren't so many pages. Maybe poetry or a short story first. "Hard things we do right away -- Impossible things take a little longer." Good luck!

I love your book idea and, since I buy the Newbery Award books for my grandchildren every Christmas, you are guaranteed sales!
Write on, Molly, and thanks for hosting next month.
Thank you for hosting February's Fun Monday. I'm looking forward to joining in.

One of the Miss Read novels features a white robin. I've never seen one.
